Cool Rides, located in Barrie, Ontario has been a Hyosung Scooter Dealer since 2006. Cool Rides not only carries their full line of Motorcycles, but backs them all with a two year warranty as well. Hyosung Scooters have been manufactured since 1979, in South Korea, by Hyosung Motors and Machinery Inc. By 1988 they had a fully functional research and development center, a mass production line for Hyosung Bikes and Scooters, and catered the 1986 and 1988 Olympics as the official Olympic Motorcycle. The company was clearly making quality products and was on the road to success. It wasn't until 2001 that Hyosung brought their range of scooters to North America, one year before Hyosung Motorcycles (2002). Still in their infancy for the North American market, Hyosung Scooters are priced below major competitors to help gain brand awareness. Hyosung Scooters are built with such confidence that the company offers a two year, Wheel to Wheel warranty on all of them, with very few ever needing to claim on it. The Canadian Scooter industry will now be able to continuously take advantage of Hyosung Scooter, with the expectation that their popularity and presence will expand in upcoming years.
